All right, let's starts this the easy way...
The saying is that the government(whatever level) is working for you. Do you belive this?
The truth is that every workers in the country work for themselves first, or for their family(wich is the way it's supposed). In the intention of filling is basic needs(house, clothes, food), and for some others not so basic needs(car, swimming pool, T.V.). Then he works for a better life, he works to help other people, he work for self satisfaction.
In politics, the politician guy dosen't do it that way. He's, of course, working for himself(his pockets) first, then for the interests of the party, then for the accountant of the party, then for the interest of the friends of the party, then for the interests of the companies who ''supported'' the party, and last, if there is still time, for you the people. All in the single interest of economy(cash!!!).
At no time, your voice, concerns or saying has been listened to. There is no need for it since they listen to theirs "friends" who are often CEO of companies, to their "advisors" who are often peoples detached from companies and to their "collaborators" that usually are fresh youngsters out of school, who, in fear for their carreer, say what the politician wants to ear. They deeply belive, in this system, that it mean that they listen to people.
It's a lie, they only way to listen and understand people is to be one. Hands shaking every fourth year is not listening. A vote is not a voice either. A political party's agenda do not take people in consideration.
Politiciens are not people, they are arrogants selfish puppets who think the best of themselves and say what they are told to. That is proven easily by the fact that(mainly) the only one we see or ear as a spokesman is the Prime Minister.
This explain why we have gain, in Canada and other "democracy", the right of free speech. Why not? Let's let people shout and cry all they what. All they need to do is pretend they are listening, people will get tired. In facts people will go back to work, they have basic needs to fill. The people can be compared to a sheep that cry for hay, let's give him a little and he will settle for a while, they we do it again.
The sad thing is that a lot of thoses politicians really have the(wrong) strong impression of doing the right thing.
