THE TRUTH ABOUT DEMAND
The World is starving for energy, the energy needs create starvation for the World.
It's the same as saying the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. In this case, we miss some self control and we hardly question our way of life. The demand for energy is highly fictionnal and really created.
The trouble is not really energy.
In order to slow down the demand for energy, we have to begin to slow our demands all together. In every aspect of our lifes. We have to look for the sources and reasons for the spinning problem and apply some breaks.
The main problem with what is going on now is that one individual need are not the main source of the problem for demand(energy or not) in general. The actual need or demands of a human being are not anymore what one really need to conduct his life. It has become what one need to have to be in the position he is holds in the established social ladder.
We have to identify why individuals have so much demand. Perhaps we should start asking why we really need a car? Why we need a mobile phone? Why we need perfume and the latest tie? Why?
To be.
In reality, our existances are oriented to satisfied the need to be. And only this.
As an exemple of this; the guy that works as bank manager NEEDS to have the latest blackberry and the Armani costume along with the big 12 cylinder Mercedes. If not, he will not look succeful and therefore will not get as many customers. The same guy would not have needed this for him to work as farmer.
The truth is that humanity has only three basic needs; to eat, to be clothed and to have a shelter. Everything else is fictionnal.
Theses three sector of basic life on Earth have been surrounded to speculators. We have left them to manage the profits from the very basics of ours existences. We have left the sheeps to be garded by wolves.
Time to get it back.
One simple thing that could be done by most; move to where you could walk to work or get a job near where you live. Another one; start learning who your neighbor is. Stay close from where live family, to stop the social explosion. Buy local, boycott brands. Ask yourself if your job is (really) social. Think about the children and the fact they will blame us.
When all rivers have runned dry, when all bird have fallen from the skies, when all trees are chopped, mankind will learn it cannot eat money.
It's time for we to come back to the basis if we are to built a strong future on stable foundations.
